Sorry friend: They stopped making it decades ago. Used to have it mixed in Mashed Potatoes and fried For "meatless" Friday dinners in the 1950s before Vatican II. I myself am looking for a copy of the back of the box discussing proportion ratios for mixing with potatoes to try and recreate the past. lol
I discovered Goya's Bacalaitos fish fritter mix, which makes fish cakes from dried, powdered pollock. It the only substitute I have found for Beardsley. I found it tasty, though salty. Declicious with mayo/catsup sauce that Goya recommends. I'll buy it again.
Here are the ingredients: Enriched Bleached Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin and Folic Acid), Malted Barley Flour, Dehydrated Powdered Pollock, Granulated Garlic, Monosodium Glutamate, Dehydrated Parsley.
How do I order the Shredded Cod fish here in Canada I want several boxes of it to start?
