I ran into this photo of the Fox theatre around 10th and Chestnut and listed as an image Circa 1885

This connected to the Old Illustrations page, Entry#447 showing some newspaper illustrations of a major fire at the Fox in 1877.

Since the Geo History maps show a theater there up until 1910, I can only presume that the Fox was rebuilt after the fire in 1877. Whether it was rebuilt exactly as before I cannot say. But the photo above seems to conform to the newspaper drawings.
The Circa 1885 may be mislabeled. Maybe a Fox Theatre picture before or after 1877 fire?
