Mrs. Anna Kurtz, living at No. 9 Java place, was charged with annoying her neighbors. It was in evidence that she not only abused and assaulted them, but did the same thing to persons who called to see them upon business or pleasure. The parties who testified aganst her have lived in the court but a few weeks, and she has been there for thirteen years. She said she could bring her neighbors to prove that she was a decent, respectable woman. She was, however, held in $300 bail to keep the peace.
