I have read that the old Odd Fellows' Temple on Broad and Cherry of some ten or twelve stories as a skyscraper, that four floors were let out as office space, no doubt for income to maintain the building and masonic like rites activities in many meeting halls. That room 506 in the Temple would be four floors about the ground floor, which sounds about right. Tenant no doubt had access to the restaurant on the top floor, a convenience for bachelor and one time sports star and ongoing car racer, likely investment capital raiser and automotive market entrepreneur Bill Taxis.
